IMMIB 2020 Industrial Design Competitions - Winner
C-Kit is a contact tracing kit that allows patients to remote monitoring of COVID positive cases and contacts. It helps them to reach healthcare personnel when needed and to inform them about their situation with quantitative values. The kit includes pulse oximeter, disposable thermometer tapes, mask, hand sanitizer and PCR test swabs for remote contact tracing of other contacted house residents.
With the rapid increase in the number of cases in the pandemic, the detection and control of COVID positive citizens is the responsibility of healthcare professionals. As a result of the interviews and observations made at the hospital/field, the definition of the problem for the improvement of the process is summarized in 4 items.
MEASURES
The equipment they wear for their safety make it difficult for them to do their job while working.
CONTACT TRACING
Contact tracing team cannot reach all COVID positive cases and contacts detected during the day
SOCIAL PRESSURE
Increasing social pressure causes citizens to hide from healthcare professionals.
INCORRECT INFORMATION
People with mild symptoms tend to exaggerate their condition.
